to make full-blown sentences and songs.

scrambling for a melody

It comes naturally
I know exactly what notes to hit
and when to hit them
I know exactly what I want to say
and how to say it

but out loud,
speaking,
conversations,
It’s so different.

I just wanna cry,

And I wanna run,
And I wanna sing.
till my lungs give out and I cannot breathe.

I wanna talk,
till everyone knows
The same thing goes
with this heart that’s about to burst
and shatter and break

because I think that’s better than loneliness
