    • White paths, winding, secret
From the mountain down to the village
A warm breath, the sun rests
      On my shoulders, golden apricot
Beneath my lips trembles an old song
I took the road, heart shared
A pause, brief, before what’s next
      Mountains embrace the fragile dawn
I move forward, I move forward
Escorted by mulberry, almond, rose trees
      The scent of past lives
      Cradles my thoughts
I move forward, I move forward
      This old village guides me
      Towards the tender invisible
      This old village guides me
      Again, again
      The fragrance spreads
      Sweet and vast
      Sweet and vast
The shepherd’s flute, a lost lament
A herd descends, blood mingled with azure
Calves and deer, noses lifted, fearful
Breathe in deeply the pure noon
      Swarm of swallows, invisible thread
Sing of the rain to come as they pass
I follow, muffled feet, the path
That winds, pulling me far ahead
      A stop, two steps,
A long garden opens, time diminishes
I move forward, I move forward
      The voices, so ancie
      White paths, winding, secret
From the mountain down to the village
A warm breath, the sun rests
      On my shoulders, golden apricot
Beneath my lips trembles an old song
I took the road, heart shared

I move forward, I move forward
